Champions League Twenty20

The second edition of Champions League Twenty20 will be held from 10 to 26 September 2010 in South Africa. 10 domestic Twenty20 teams will be the participants. The teams are from India, Australia, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, West Indies and South Africa.

The participating teams are Central Districts Stags (New Zealand – 2010 HRV Cup winner), Chennai Super Kings, Mumbai Indians, Bangalore Royal Challengers (India – 2010 Indian Premier League winner, runner-up, third place), Warriors, Highveld Lions (South Africa – 2010 Standard Bank Pro20 winner, runner-up), Victorian Bushrangers, Southern Redbacks (Australia – 2009-10 KFC Twenty20 Big Bash winner, runner-up), Wayamba Elevens (Sri Lanka – 2010 Inter-Provincial Twenty20), Guyana (West Indies – 2010 Caribbean Twenty20).

Group A: Chennai Super Kings, Warriors, Victoria, Wayamba, Central Districts
Group B: Mumbai Indians, Highveld Lions, South Australia, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Guyana

Grounds
The tournament is to be hosted at four venues across South Africa. The grounds are SuperSport Park (Centurion), Kingsmead (Durban), the Wanderers Stadium (Johannesburg) and St George's Park (Port Elizabeth). The semi-finals are to be held at Sahara Stadium Kingsmead and Supersport Park. The final will be held at Wanderers Stadium. 

Preliminary squads of eight teams announced.
