Mantri Karnataka Premier League second edition

The second edition of the Mantri Karnataka Premier League (KPL) is decided from September 18 to October 3. The venue of the tournament will move from Bangalore to Hubli, Manipal and Mysore.

The matches at Bangalore will be day-night match and other centres will be host day matches. The president of Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) said, “KPL has given more exposure to our players and we hope the second season will be even better”.

Bangalore Provident (Rural) are the defending champions after beating Belagavi Panthers in Bangalore last year.

The first eight matches will be held at Bangalore from September 18 – 21.

The last four matches in the group stage, semifinals and final will be held at Mysore. The matches at the venue of Mysore will be start on September 30. The semifinals will be held on October 2 and final on October 3.
